Description

Description générale

Doxepin is a tricyclic antidepressant used for the treatment of sleep maintenance and sold under trade names such as Silenor^® and Aponal. This analytical reference standard is appropriate for use as starting material in calibrators or controls for numerous LC/MS or GC/MS applications such as forensic analysis, clinical toxicology, urine drug testing, or pharmaceutical research.

Application

• Magnetic Particle Spray Mass Spectrometry: This study utilizes advanced analytical techniques, potentially incorporating Doxepin hydrochloride as a standard in mass spectrometry, to improve detection sensitivities for antidepressants and other neuropharmacological agents (Venga Mendes and Figueiredo, 2024).
