Description

Description générale

Clomipramine is a tricyclic antidepressant used to many conditions from major depression and panic disorder to narcolepsy and obsessive compulsion disorder (OCD). This internal standard is is suitable for quantitation of Clomipramine levels in urine, serum, or plasma by LC/MS or GC/MS for applications in clinical toxicology, forensic analysis, isotope dilution methods, or pharmaceutical research.

Application

• Brain Metabolic Profile after Intranasal vs. Intraperitoneal Clomipramine Treatment in Rats with Ultrasound Model of Depression.: This study investigates the metabolic profiles in the brain following different administration routes of clomipramine in a rat model of depression, providing insights into its pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics (Abramova et al., 2021).
