Immunogen Sequence: GI # 5729850, sequence 345-353
Synthetic peptide sequence of guanine nucleotide binding protein (G protein), α inhibiting activity polypeptide 3.

Application

Anti-GNAI3 antibody produced in chicken is suitable for immunocytochemistry and western blotting analysis at a dilution of 1:500, for tissue or cell staining at a dilution of 1:200.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Guanine nucleotide-binding protein G(k) subunit α is a protein encoded by the GNAI3 gene in humans. It is composed of α, β and γ subunits and mediates hormonal regulation of many membrane functions. GNAI3 subunit translocations to the cytoskeleton and its simultaneous inhibition indicates that the cytoskeleton might participate in the signaling process of human epithelial cells.

Physical form

Solution in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.02% sodium azide.
