This Anti-phospho-PKR (Thr451) Antibody is validated for use in WB for the detection of phospho-PKR (Thr451).

Quality

Routinely evaluated by immunoblot.

Target description

68 kDa

Physical form

100 µL of affinity purified rabbit polyclonal IgG in Dulbecco’s PBS, containing 1.0 mg/mL BSA, 0.05% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
ImmunoAffinity Purified

Storage and Stability

Stable for 2 years at -20°C from date of shipment.
Handling Recommendations: Upon first thaw, and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance. Note: Variability in freezer temperatures below -20°C may cause glycerolcontaining solutions to become frozen during storage.

The human double-stranded RNA-dependent protein kinase (PKR) is an important component of the interferon response to virus infection. The activation of PKR is accompanied by autophosphorylation at multiple sites, including one in the N-terminal regulatory region (Thr-258) that is required

Thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) produced by epithelial cells acts on dendritic cells (DCs) to drive differentiation of TH 2-cells, and is therefore important in allergic disease pathogenesis. However, DCs themselves make significant amounts of TSLP in response to microbial products

Activation of the Nod-like receptor 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome is important for activation of innate immune responses, but improper and excessive activation can cause inflammatory disease. We previously showed that glycolysis, a metabolic pathway that converts glucose into pyruvate, is essential
