General description

EPA 501/601 Trihalomethanes Calibration Mix is a multi-component solution which contains trihalomethanes EPA certified reference standards (CRMs) such as chloroform, bromodichloromethane, dibromochloromethane, and bromoform.
US EPA 500 Series methods are analytical methods for identifying and quantifying organic contaminants such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs), pesticides, synthetic organic compounds (SOCs), and trihalomethane disinfection byproducts (THMs) in raw source water, finished drinking water, and drinking water at all stages of treatment.

Application

EPA 501/601 Trihalomethanes Calibration Mix may be used as a CRM to quantify the analytes such as chloroform, bromodichloromethane, dibromochloromethane, and bromoform in water samples, marine aquaculture, and river water samples by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) technique.
Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.
