General description

Rabbit serum can be used for the study of serum proteins and antibody-mediated immune responses . Anti-Rabbit Serum antibody is specific for normal rabbit serum, and has not been assayed for cross reactivity with other species.

Specificity

Strong reactivity with normal rabbit serum has been determined by immunoelectrophoresis (IEP). This antiserum has not been assayed for interspecies crossreactivity.

Rabbit serum

Application

Anti-Rabbit Serum antibody is suitable for use in immunoelectrophoresis.
Anti-Rabbit Serum antibody produced in goat has been used in
  • incubation of rabbit blastocyst prior to inner cell mass
  • isolation
  • RNA isolation
  • western blotting

Physical form

Goat Anti-Rabbit Serum is provided as a liquid containing 0.1% sodium azide (see MSDS) as preservative.

Storage and Stability

For continuous use, store at 2-8 °C for up to one month. For extended storage, the solution may be frozen in working aliquots. Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended.
