General description

Phosmet is a widely used, broad spectrum insecticide, which belongs to the phosphorodithioate subclass of organophosphates. It can find applications in having a control over insects in horticultural crops and ornamental plants. It can be used to control olive fruit fly (Bactrocera oleae, Dacus oleae), which can cause damage to the olive oil trees.
