Isolate specimens on a microscope slide with hydrophobic press-to-seal (removable) or peel-and-stick (adhesive) barriers. Available in silicone thickness 0.5 to 2.5mm as pre-cut gaskets and sheet material; with or without secure seal clean release adhesive on one or both surfaces. Non-adhesive isolators are autoclavable and re-usable for cell culture applications. NOTE: Add approximately 0.15mm to depth per layer of adhesive.

The protein-folding chaperone Hsp90 enables the maturation and stability of various oncogenic signaling proteins and is thus pursued as a cancer drug target. Folding in particular of protein kinases is assisted by the co-chaperone Cdc37. Several inhibitors against the Hsp90
The importance of appropriate normalization controls in quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) experiments has become more apparent as the number of biological studies using this methodology has increased. In developing a system to study gene expression from transiently transfected
The ATP-competitive inhibitors of Hsp90 have been tested predominantly in kinase addicted cancers; however, they have had limited success. A mechanistic connection between Hsp90 and oncogenic K-Ras is not known. Here, we show that K-Ras selectivity is enabled by the
