G V Childs et al.
Peptides, 4(4), 549-555 (1983-07-01)
These studies describe the application of new cytochemical stains that co-localize a biotin-labeled gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) analog and FSH or LH in the same field or cell. Pituitary monolayer cells were stimulated with the [D-Lys6] GnRH analog or the

Endocrinology, 111(1), 335-337 (1982-07-01)
Binding of gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH, pyro-Glu1-His2-Trp3-Ser4-Tyr5-Gly6-Leu7-Arg8-Pro9-Gly-NH210) to its plasma membrane receptor is the first step leading to pituitary luteinizing hormone (LH) release. In the present study, we have prepared the ethylene glycol bis(succinimidyl succinate) (EGS) dimer of a GnRH
L Jennes et al.
Peptides, 7(3), 459-463 (1986-05-01)
The binding and uptake of the GnRH agonist D-Lys6-GnRH and of the antagonists [N-Ac-D-(pyro)-Cl-Phe1,2-D-Trp3-Lys6-D-Ala10]-GnRH and D-p-Glu1-D-Phe2-D-Trp3-D-Lys6-GnRH by dispersed pituitary gonadotropes was studied with electron microscopy. The peptides were coupled to colloidal gold markers with a diameter of 6 or 20

Recently we have demonstrated that the human hepatocellular carcinoma-derived cell lines, HepG2 and HuH7, contain gonadotropin-releasing hormone (gonadoliberin) receptors and respond to various molecular forms of gonadoliberin in terms of suppressed proliferation in vitro. This study provides the first demonstration
