Synthetic peptide directed towards the middle region of human PTPRN
Application
Anti-PTPRA (AB1) antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a concentration of 0.0625μg/ml.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Protein tyrosine phosphatase, receptor type N (PTPRN) is a member of protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family involved in cell growth, differentiation and mitosis. PTPRN acts as an autoantigen in the sera of insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus patients and is the target of autoimmunity.
Sequence
Synthetic peptide located within the following region: EVQQVPSPVSSEPPKAARPPVTPVLLEKKSPLGQSQPTVAGQPSARPAAE
Physical form
Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer with 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 2% sucrose.

Several self-antigens have been reported as targets of the autoimmune response in nonobese diabetic (NOD) mice. The aim of this workshop was to identify autoantibody assays that could provide useful markers of autoimmunity in this animal model for type 1
It is well documented that hypoxia activates the hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha (HIF1α)/vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGFA) axis to promote angiogenesis in breast cancer. However, it is unclear how this axis is negatively regulated. In this study, we demonstrated that

It is now well established that the members of the PTP (protein tyrosine phosphatase) superfamily play critical roles in fundamental biological processes. Although there has been much progress in defining the function of PTPs, the task of identifying substrates for
