Staurosporine is soluble in ethyl acetate, DMSO at 5 mg/mL, and DMF. It is slightly soluble in chloroform and methanol at 2 mg/mL, and insoluble in water. Stock solutions should be aliquoted, purged with an inert gas, and stored at -20 °C, where they should remain stable for approximately 6 months.
