General description
Protein A is an immunoglobulin (Ig)-binding protein used to purify large amounts of IgG.[1] It binds to the Fc part of the antibody at the CH2–CH3 interface.[2] Protein A-agarose might be suitable for low-pressure antibody isolation.[1]
