2D V2O5 (vanadium oxide) nanosheets have superior electrochemical performance in terms of their specific capacity, rate capability, and cyclability as cathode materials for LIBs. In particular, their unique nanoscale characteristics, including 2D morphology, hierarchical porous structure, large specific surface, opens up new opportunities in the development of high-performance next-generation LIBs used for alternative energy and electric transportation.
