Description générale
Solid phase extraction (SPE) is a technique commonly used in laboratories to isolate analytes of interest from complex matrices. This technique is typically performed manually (offline). Offline SPE is generally time-consuming, labor intensive, irreproducible from batch to batch, and incompatible with automation.
Supel Genie Online SPE cartridges are designed for direct injection of untreated samples (e.g. water and urine) or processed samples (e.g. protein-precipitated plasma and serum), for analysis with liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry (LC/MS). The Supel Genie Online SPE cartridges enable online sample cleanup, concentration, and separation with excellent reproducibility and performance. Coupled with mass spectrometry for detection, the Supel Genie Online SPE cartridges provide a simple, automated method for sample analysis and are ideal for use in the LC/MS/MS analysis of biological fluids such as plasma and serum.
For first time use, a starter kit is required to obtain reusable universal hardware that will fit all Supel Genie Online SPE cartridges (P/N 55516-U).
LC instrumentation must be configured to accommodate Online SPE cartridges. Please see instrument setup diagram in datasheet. 55519-U
