Description générale

Angiopoietin-related protein 3 (ANGPTL3) is a member of the ANGPTL family and is expressed in the liver.[1] The ANGPTL3 gene is mapped on the human chromosome at 1p31.3.[2] Mutations in the ANGPTL3 gene lead to familial combined hypolipidemia, a Mendelian condition that is indicated by lower levels of triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein (HDL), and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol.[3] The ANGPTL3 enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kit provides for the quantitative measurement of angiopoietin-related protein 3 in cell culture supernatants, plasma, and serum.
