Synthetic peptide directed towards the N terminal region of human USP39
Actions biochimiques/physiologiques
USP39 is a ubiquitin specific peptidase, a neuronal slicing factor expressed in the brain. It maintains embryonic pituitary homeostasis in Zebrafish by regulating expansion of all embryonic pituitary cell lineages. USP39 controls the levels of aurora B mRNA and is important to maintain the integrity of mitotic spindle checkpoint.

Loss of retinoblastoma (Rb) tumor suppressor function is associated with human malignancies. Molecular and genetic mechanisms responsible for tumorigenic Rb downregulation are not fully defined. Through a forward genetic screen and positional cloning, we identified and characterized a zebrafish ubiquitin
Previously, we have shown that the translocation of Grainyhead-like 3 (GRHL3) transcription factor from the nucleus to the cytoplasm triggers the switch from canonical Wnt signaling for epidermal differentiation to non-canonical Wnt signaling for epithelial morphogenesis. However, the molecular mechanism
Accurate chromosome segregation relies on the mitotic spindle checkpoint. This checkpoint acts to restrict ubiquitin ligase activity of the Anaphase-promoting complex (APC/C) in mitosis until all chromosomes are bipolarly attached to the mitotic spindle. We performed a functional RNAi-based screen
