TNFRSF18 belongs to TNF receptor super family. It is a 228-amino acid type 1 transmembrane protein with a cysteine-rich extracellular domain.
Immunogène
Synthetic peptide directed towards the C terminal region of human TNFRSF18
Application
Anti-TNFRSF18 antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a concentration of 1 μg/ml. For immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded tissue sections, a concentration of 2-4 μg/ml is suitable.
Actions biochimiques/physiologiques
TNFRSF18 regulates cell death mediated by T cell receptors. It has important role in inflammatory responses that are involved in autoimmune disorders such as collagen-induced arthritis, experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis and autoimmune gastritis.
Séquence
Synthetic peptide located within the following region: LRSQCMWPRETQLLLEVPPSTEDARSCQFPEEERGERSAEEKGRLGDLWV
Forme physique
Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer with 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 2% sucrose.
