• Cedar Oil in Hydrogel Composite Development: Cedar essential oil was integrated into polyvinyl alcohol/cedar oil/kaolin composite hydrogels to enhance hemostatic, antibacterial, and antioxidant properties. This application underscores its potential in biomedical material engineering, particularly in wound management products (Tamer et al., 2022).


• Food Packaging Applications: Cedar oil was utilized in the development of bioactive polypropylene films, demonstrating its efficacy as a natural preservative in food packaging.
