Description générale

Octisalate is a sunscreen agent that acts as a UV filter for UVB (280-315 nm) radiation.[1]

Application

Octisalate may be used as a pharmaceutical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in pharmaceutical and sunscreen formulations by chromatography.[2][3]
