Description générale

Thifluzamide is a fungicide used in controlling a variety of fungal diseases in crops. It is a succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor and its mode of action involves, interference with succinate ubiquinone reductase in the mitochondrial electron transport chain of fungi.

Thifluzamide may be used as a reference standard in the determination of thifluzamide in rice field ecosystem using QuEChERS solid-phase extraction method combined with high- performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS).
