Stem-cell and fetal-cell replacement therapies for many diseases have proven to be very hopeful. Human nuclei antibodies are very important histological and cytological markers for identifying human cells. The use of human nuclei and C-peptide to force differentiation of human mesenchymal stem cells into insulin-producing cells to treat diabetes mellitus in mice has been successful. Human nuclei cells have also been associated with using stem-cell treatment in spinal cord injuries in canines.
Spécificité
Stains nuclei of all human cell types giving a diffuse nuclear staining pattern. Chromosomes are negatively stained in metaphase cells. Also stains nuclei from primate (Sanchez-Pernaute, 2005). The antibody does not react with nuclei from mouse or rat.
