Application
- Enantioselective analysis of Levomethorphan: Development of a novel enantioselective high-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry method for the differentiation of dextro- and levo-methorphan and their O-demethylated metabolites in human blood, applicable to post-mortem samples, highlighting its role in forensic toxicology (Jorbenadze et al., 2024).
- Quantitative determination in forensic samples: An enantioselective high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method was developed for the quantitative determination of methorphan and its O-demethylated metabolite in human blood, demonstrating Levomethorphan′s application as a reference standard in post-mortem forensic analysis (Lo Faro et al., 2023).
- Chiral analysis in human hair: A study on chiral analysis of dextromethorphan and levomethorphan in human hair by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry, providing insights into their presence and metabolism in biological samples (Ji et al., 2022).
- Chiral purity determination: Development of a capillary electrophoresis method for the determination of the chiral purity of dextromethorphan using a dual selector system and quality by design methodology, enhancing the analytical capabilities for Levomethorphan (Krait et al., 2018).
- Metabolic study on chiral drugs: A metabolic study on the biochemical effects of chiral illegal drugs, including Levomethorphan, in rats using (1)H-NMR spectroscopy, contributing to understanding its biochemical behavior and potential impacts (Fukuhara et al., 2017).
