Application

24:1 SM has been used as a lipid standard in the optimization of the liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) method conditions. It has also been used as a standard for the absolute quantification of epidermal lipids using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS).
