Description générale

Gallium(III) chloride is prepared by reacting Ga metal with Cl2 or HCl in N2 at 200oC.1

Application

Catalyst for a number of transformations such as the ring opening and recyclization of epoxides or the trimerization of alkynes.[1][2]
