General description

TES sodium salt belongs to the category of zwitterionic buffers that contain ionizable groups of both positive and negative charges. It has a high water solubility and can effectively stabilize pH levels within the physiological pH range of 6.8 to 8.2 over a broad range of temperatures. TES sodium salt is used in the preparation of electrophoresis buffers. It is one of the commonly used Good buffers in biochemistry and molecular biology research.
