Immunoglobulins (Igs) belongs to the immunoglobulin super-family. There are five different types of Immunoglobulins. Each immunoglobin have two heavy (H) and two light (L) chains held together by disulfide linkages. Each light chain comprises one variable N-terminal region and a constant C-terminal region. Heavy chain has one variable N-terminal region and three or four constant (CH1-CH4) C-terminal region. The four classes of IgG can be IgG1, IgG2, IgG3, and IgG4.
Application
Anti-Rat IgG (whole molecule) antibody produced in rabbit has been used in:
IgG antibody subtype is the most abundant of serum immunoglobulins of the immune system. It is secreted by B cells and is found in blood and extracellular fluids and provides protection from infections caused by bacteria, fungi and viruses. Maternal IgG is transferred to fetus through the placenta that is vital for immune defense of the neonate against infections.
Other Notes
Antibody adsorbed with human IgG.
Physical form
Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide as preservative

Biofilm formation on central lines or peripheral catheters is a serious threat to patient well-being. Contaminated vascular devices can act as a nidus for bloodstream infection and systemic pathogen dissemination. Staphylococcal biofilms are the most common cause of central-line-associated bloodstream

Phosphorylation of conserved Y₁S₂P₃T₄S₅P₆S₇ repeats in the C-terminal domain of largest subunit of RNA polymerase II (RNAPII CTD) plays a central role in the regulation of transcription and cotranscriptional RNA processing. Here, we show that Ser phosphorylation of Arabidopsis thaliana
