ASAP1 is a phospholipid-dependent ARF GTPase-activating protein that activates ARF for membrane trafficking regulation.
Rabbit anti-ASAP1/Centaurin β4 (ED-20) antibody recognizes human ASAP1 by immunoblotting (130kDa, doublet band). Staining of ASAP1 in immunoblotting is specifically inhibited with the ASAP1 immunizing peptide.
Immunogen
synthetic peptide located near the C-terminus of mouse ASAP1 (amino acids 1128-1147) conjugated to KLH.
Application
Rabbit anti-ASAP1/Centaurin β4 (ED-20) antibody can be used for immunofluorescence (1:1,000 using mouse NIH3T3 fibroblast cells) and western blot (1:2,000 using rat brain and mouse brain extracts) assays. It is also suitable for use in microarray applications.
Physical form
Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide.
