Application

Activated charcoal (DARCO®, 4-12 mesh particle size, granular) can be used in combination with ozone for the tertiary treatment of wastewater. It can also be utilized in selective adsorption of phenanthrene with a selectivity of ~38.[1][2]

Other Notes

Acid-washed lignite carbon for general uses.
