General description

SRM 17G is comprised of pure crystalline sucrose with certified value of chemical purity.

Each unit of SRM 17G includes a bottle containing ~60 g of sucrose.

SRM 17G_cert

SRM 17G_SDS

Application

Sucrose Optical Rotation standard reference material (SRM) is intended for use as a saccharimetry standard, used to calibrate polarimetric systems.

Features and Benefits

  • Accompanied with certificate documenting NIST-certified values of sucrose mass fraction and non-certified values of carbon and hydrogen mass fraction.
  • Certified chemical purity values are determined using a quantitative 1H-nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (q1H-NMR).
  • Certified values are metrologically traceable to the International System of Units (SI) of mass.
  • The NIST certificate is provided with storage and use instructions.

Other Notes

Certified for the analytes listed below.

Questions

  1. 현재는 단종된 17F와 17G의 차이를 문의드립니다. 단순 용량 차이일까요, 또는 성분에 차이가 있을까요?

    1 answer
    1. The NIST17F is no longer available. The product has been replaced by NIST17G. In comparing the certificates offered by the NIST there does not appear to be any difference. Both products are packaged in quantities of 60 grams. Further details would have to be obtained through the supplier. See the link below to the NIST product page:
