General description
The Durapore® membrane provides high flow rates and throughput, low extractables and broad chemical compatibility. Hydrophilic Durapore® membranes bind far less protein than nylon, nitrocellulose or PTFE membranes. The 0.1 μm pore size hydrophilic membrane is designed and manufactured for removal of particles and organisms
larger than 0.1 μm. The membrane may be sterilized by in-line steaming or autoclaving up to 135°C, 30 psig, for 45 minutes. Integrity testing of the membrane may be determined by either the diffusional flow or the bubble point test.
