General description
- 100ml funnel.
- White gridded MCE filter membrane.
The sealed integral membrane filter eliminates the need for membrane manipulation and handling, thus minimizing a major source of contamination and thereby improves bioburden testing reliability. The sealed membrane prevents the bypass phenomenon often found with other filtration systems.
The Milliflex® filtration possesses almost twice the surface area of standard membranes enabling faster filtration and the funnel can be easily detached from the membrane without the use of any tools. The convex shape of the membrane after filtration demonstrates the integrity of the membrane and prevents air bubbles from being trapped when placed on culture media.
Application
Features and Benefits
- Effortless liquid level control, due to the fully transparent material
- Limited liquid residues after filtration, due to the ultra-hydrophobic property of the material
- Effortless funnel and membrane separation
- Reduced risk of secondary contamination, due to the new hinged lid which allows the device to be closed during filtration
