Reactive with human NOS-III (eNOS). This immunogen sequence is 100% homologous in human, bovine, rat, and mouse, but reactivity has not been tested.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 596-610 of human endothelial NOS, coupled to KLH.
Application
Anti-Nitric Oxide Synthase III Antibody detects level of Nitric Oxide Synthase III & has been published & validated for use in WB & IC.
Research Category Neuroscience
Research Sub Category Oxidative Stress
Western Blot: 5 μg/mL using chemiluminescent detection. Detects ~135-140kDa band in endothelial cell preparations; Higher concentrations of the antibody may be required if colorimetric detection is used. Antibody dilution will also vary with the concentration of the antigen. Immunocytochemistry: Use at 5-10 μg/mL
Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.
Physical form
Affinity purified immunoglobulin. Liquid in 0.02M Phosphate buffer, 0.25 M NaCl, pH 7.6 with 0.1% Sodium azide as a preservative.
Storage and Stability
Store at 2-8°C in undiluted aliquots for up to 6 months.
Other Notes
Concentration: Please refer to the Certificate of Analysis for the lot-specific concentration.
