General description

Anti-DJ-1 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total DJ-1 protein.
DJ-1 (protein deglycase)/PARK7 (parkinsonism associated deglycase) is an oncogene, made of 189 amino acids. It is present in several human tissues and is located on chromosome 1p36.

Immunogen

The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human DJ-1.

Immunogen Range: 21-70

Application

Anti-DJ-1 antibody has been used in western blotting.

Biochem/physiol Actions

In lung cancer patients, DJ-1 (protein deglycase) acts as a biomarker for the initial prognosis. It also acts as a serum biomarker for identifying high-risk endometrial cancer.

Features and Benefits

Evaluate our antibodies with complete peace of mind. If the antibody does not perform in your application, we will issue a full credit or replacement antibody. Learn more.

Physical form

Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
