General description

The MB ELISA kit provides for the Quantitative measurement of Myoglobin in Cell Culture Supernatants, Plasma and Serum.

Application

For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
Please refer to the attached General ELISA KIT Procedure (sandwich, competitive & Indirect ELISA)

Biochem/physiol Actions

Myoglobin is a hemoprotein that regulates the storage and diffusion of oxygen in heart and skeletal muscles. It also protects the tissues from oxidative damage by controlling the levels of reactive oxygen species and nitric oxide. Myoglobin modulates nitric oxide and oxygen levels in the mitochondrial compartments of skeletal muscle and cardiac cells.

The therapeutic potential of doxorubicin (DOX) is limited by cardiotoxicity. Rubicon is an inhibitory interacting partner of autophagy protein UVRAG. Currently, the role of Rubicon in DOX-induced cardiotoxicity is unknown. In this study, we test the hypothesis that loss of

However, its poor water solubility and indiscriminate distribution in normal tissues remain clinical challenges. Here we design and synthesize a highly water-soluble nucleolin aptamer-paclitaxel conjugate (NucA-PTX) that

Doxorubicin (DOX) is an effective chemotherapeutic drug in the treatment of various types of cancers. However, its clinical application has been largely limited by potential development of cardiotoxicity. Previously we have shown that ultra-violet radiation resistance-associated gene (UVRAG), an autophagy-related
