General description

Standard adhesive-backed microplate sealer suitable for all traditional laboratory purposes where protection of sample integrity and evaporation prevention are desired.

Material:
Foil: Polyethyleneterephtalat (PET)
Glue: Acrylate Solvent
Paper: Silicone-paper KV 75
Greiner microplate sealers are RNase free, DNase free and nonpyrogenic. They feature a temperature tolerance range of -70 °C up to 110 °C.

Application

Greiner multiwell plate sealers have been used for isolating the ends of mounted samples to prevent the conductive nature of metal fixtures. The study was done to compare the electrical properties between the bulk conductive-PDMS (polydimethylsiloxane) material and the microengineered electrodes under stretch. Greiner multiwell plate sealers have also been used for the sealing of 96-well V-bottom polypropylene plates for high-throughput analysis of the plasma N-glycome via UHPLC (ultrahigh performance liquid chromatography).
