Application

Lithium chloride solution has been used:
  • to obtain LiClPAM3 DCs form of dendritic cell
  • in LiCl buffer preparation for immunoprecipitation
  • in the preparation of wash buffer
  • in the preparation of radioimmunoprecipitation assay (RIPA) wash buffer

May be used to selectively precipitate RNA.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Lithium chloride has the ability to block glycogen synthase kinase (GSK). It may also possess anti-inflammatory effects at low and non-toxic concentrations.
