General description

Isoglobotriaosylsphingosine (Lyso iGB3) is a truncated form of iGb3. It is a β-linked glycolipid.[1] Isogloboside 3 (iGb3) is a glycosphingolipid.[2]

Biochem/physiol Actions

Isogloboside 3 (iGb3) acts as an endogenous ligand for natural killer T (NKT) cells.[3]
