General description

Screens for CD-1 is a stainless-steel celldissociation sieve designed for the preparation of single-cell suspensions fromtissues and fragment polyacrylamide gels.

Application

Screens for CD-1 have been used for:
  • filtering tracheids, wood fibers, and ray parenchyma cells from hydrogen peroxide-acetic acid (HPAC)-pretreated oak
  • in the isolation of enterocytes from Oncorhynchus mykiss intestine
  • to filter dissociated chicken testicular cells to obtain single-cell suspension
