In the pure form, Valproic acid exists as a neat liquid, the concentration will be considered 100%. The density of the pure form is 0.905 g/mL at 20 °C. The solubility is not tested, however literature shows that it is only slightly soluble in water - 1.3 - 2.0 mg/mL. It is freely soluble in organic solvents, acids and bases.
