General description

Serum albumin is the protein component of blood which regulates the colloid osmotic blood pressure and blood pH. Anti-bovine albumin antibody is used in study of in vivo hydrolysis of various bovine and human whey proteins which are measured by electroimmunoassay. Rabbit anti–bovine serum albumin antibodies react specifically with bovine serum albumin.

Immunogen

Purified BSA.

Application

Anti-bovine albumin antibody can be used in immunoaffinity purification and Ouchterlony double diffusion.

Physical form

Lyophilized from 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.2

Reconstitution

Reconstitute with 2 mL deionized water.
