RIG-1 (retinoic acid-inducible gene I) is a cytoplasmic viral RNA receptor, that is also known as DDX58 (DExD/H-box helicase 58). It belongs to RIG-I-like receptor (RLR) family. It has 2 N-terminal caspase recruitment domains (CARDs), a central RNA helicase domain, and a C-terminal RNA-binding domain. It is located on chromosome 9p21.1.
Immunogen
human GST-tagged RIG-1 protein.
Biochem/physiol Actions
DDX58 (DExD/H-box helicase 58) mutations leads to atypical singleton-merten syndrome. It participates in immune regulation and activation of astrocyte.
Physical form
Solution in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.02% sodium azide
