General description

Aclonifen is a diphenyl-ether herbicide, which can be used for weed control management, in specific for sunflowers. Its mode of action involves, the inhibition of carotenoid synthesis and suppression of protoporphyrinogen oxidase enzyme involved in the chlorophyll synthesis pathway.
