General description

The complex of CD49b associated with CD29 (integrin beta1) is a receptor for laminin and collagen. This complex is expressed by some CD4-positive T cells, natural killer cells, epithelial cells and platelets.

Specificity

Specifically recognizes the 150 kDa mouse CD49b, also known as Integrin alpha2.

Application

Anti-Integrin α2 Antibody, clone HMα2 detects level of Integrin α2 & has been published & validated for use in FC, IF, IP, IH.

CEA and CEACAM6 are immunoglobulin family intercellular adhesion molecules that are up-regulated without structural mutations in approximately 70% of human cancers. Results in in vitro systems showing tumorigenic effects for these molecules suggest that this correlation could indicate an instrumental

Functionalization of surfaces with poly(sodium styrenesulfonate) (poly(NaSS)) has recently been found to enhance osteointegration of implantable materials. Radical polymerization of poly(NaSS) on titanium (Ti)-based substrates has been used to improve their long-term performance by preventing fibrosis and consequently implant loosening.

Our team of scientists has experience in all areas of research including Life Science, Material Science, Chemical Synthesis, Chromatography, Analytical and many others.
