General description
Native coagulation factor X from human plasma. In the coagulation cascade, Factor X is converted to Factor Xa, the enzyme that converts prothrombin to thrombin by either the extrinsic or intrinsic pathway. Sold on the basis of units where one unit equals the amount of Factor X in 1 ml pooled human plasma (100 units = 0.8 mg Factor X).
