Humic acid is a natural source material and exists in nature primarily as the sodium form. This is a technical grade product and in-depth analysis has not been performed, including carbon content. It is composed of a polycyclic core (mostly aromatic), loosely bound polysaccharides, proteins, phenols and chelated metal ions. The molecular weight can range from 2kDa - 500kDa, with the bulk being 20kDa - 50kDa. PubChem lists the formula as C9H8NA2O4. This would be the core formula.
