Application
Low refractive index polymer for cladding layer in optical waveguides.
Poly(pentafluorostyrene) (PPFS) can be used in the development of polylectrolytic membranes for fuel cell applications.[1][2] It can also act as a glycosylated polymer for potential usage in biological imaging.[3] It is a fluorinated polymer which may be utilized in microelectronics or as an antifouling and antifogging agent.[4]
