General description

Lithium carbonate - 99.99% trace metals basis, an inorganic compound with its chemical formula Li2CO3, is a white powder. It’s often used in ceramic and pharmaceutical, metallurgical industries etc. It is a key ingredient in alkaline storage battery, NMC111, NMC442, NMC532, NMC622 and LFP lithium-ion batteries.

Application

Lithium Carbonate is used in the field of high-energy lithium-ion batteries (automotive, energy storage) production, to produce materials such as LCO(Lithium Cobalt Oxide), LMO(Lithium ion Manganese Oxide), LTO(Lithium Titanate Oxide), LFP (Lithium iron phosphate), NMC111, NMC442, NMC532, NMC622 for Li-ion battery and those for other alkaline batteries. It is used to produce cathode materials such as lithium cobalt oxide (LiCoO₂) and lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO). Due to its crystalline stability Li2CO3 is widely used in industrial sectors, including pharmaceuticals, optical glass, ceramics, alloy, and lithium-ion batteries. Lithium carbonate can be used in research areas of bipolar disorder and other mental health conditions as a mood stabilizer. Lithium carbonate is used in the treatment of bipolar disorder and other mental health conditions as a mood stabilizer.

Features and Benefits

(1) Exceptional Purity: The 99.99% (<100 ppm) purity minimizes contamination from trace metals, ensuring suitability for applications sensitive to even minute impurities.

(2) Consistent Performance: Ultra-high purity guarantees consistent performance across various applications, reducing variability and enhancing reliability.

(3) High Purity Standard: Ideal as a standard or reagent for trace metal analysis and high-precision analytical techniques, ensuring accurate and reliable results.

(4) Lower conetent of anions such (Chloride and Nitrate)
