ZooMAb® antibodies represent an entirely new generation of recombinant monoclonal antibodies. Each ZooMAb® antibody is manufactured using our proprietary recombinant expression system, purified to homogeneity, and precisely dispensed to produce robust and highly reproducible lot-to-lot consistency. Only top-performing clones are released for use by researchers. Each antibody is validated for high specificity and affinity across multiple applications, including its most commonly used application. ZooMAb® antibodies are reliably available and ready to ship when you need them.

Especificidad

Clone 1H21 is a ZooMAb® rabbit recombinant monoclonal antibody that specifically detects RNA-binding protein 39 (RBM39). It targets an epitope within 22 amino acids from the C-terminal half

Inmunógeno

KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to 22 amino acids from the C-terminal half of human RNA-binding protein 39 (RBM39).

Aplicación

Quality Control Testing

Evaluated by Western Blotting in HeLa cell lysate.

Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:10,000 dilution of this antibody detected RBM39 in HeLa cell lysate.

Tested applications

Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:1,000 dilution from a representative lot detected RBM39 in Neuro 2A cell lysate.

Western Blotting Analysis(WB): 1:1000 dilution of this antibody detected RBM29 in wild type HCT116 cells, but not in lysates from cells treated with Indisulam.

Western blotting Analysis: 1:1000 dilution of this antibody detected RBM39 in lysate from thymus tissue of heterozygous knockout mice, but not from lysate from homozygous knockout mice.

Affinity Binding Assay: A representative lot of this antibody bound RBM39 peptide with a KD of 3.9 x 10-8 in an affinity binding assay.

Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) Analysis: A 1:100 dilution from a representative lot detected RBM39 in human cerebral cortex tissue sections.

Note: Actual optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user as specimens, and experimental conditions may vary with the end user

Descripción de destino

RNA-binding protein 39 (UniProt: Q14498; also known as CAPER alpha, CAPERalpha, Hepatocellular carcinoma protein 1, RNA-binding motif protein 39, RNA-binding region-containing protein 2, Splicing factor HCC1) is encoded by the RBM39 (also known as HCC1, RNPC2) gene (Gene ID: 9584) in human. RBM39 is an RNA-binding protein that acts as a pre-mRNA splicing factor. It is mainly involved in transcriptional regulation, alternative splicing, and protein translation. It is normally concentrated in nuclear speckles and has three RNA recognition motifs (RRM)(aa 153-230; 250-328; and 445-508). RBM39 is considered to be a key factor in tumor-targeted mRNA and protein expression and plays a vital role in tumorigenesis. It is expressed at high levels in human breast cancer tissues, but it was almost undetectable in normal breast tissues. Its levels are reported to be upregulated in most cancers and its inhibition is lethal to cancer cells. By regulating transcription of many tumor-related genes, protein translation, and alternative splicing it is indirectly involved in tumor growth and progression. It displays high selectivity for c-Jun, ER /β, and progestin receptor (PR), but does not affect other transcription factors, such as p53, c-fos, NF- B component p50 etc. This ZooMAbZooMAb® recombinant monoclonal antibody, generated by our propriety technology, offers significantly enhanced specificity, affinity, reproducibility, and stability over conventional monoclonals. Forma física

Purified recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody IgG, lyophilized in PBS, 5% Trehalose, normal appearance a coarse or translucent resin. The PBS/trehalose components in the ZooMAb formulation can have the appearance of a semi-solid (bead like gel) after lyophilization. This is a normal phenomenon. Please follow the recommended reconstitution procedure in the data sheet to dissolve the semi-solid, bead-like, gel-appearing material. The resulting antibody solution is completely stable and functional as proven by full functional testing. Contains no biocide or preservatives, such as azide, or any animal by-products. Larger pack sizes provided as multiples of 25 μL.

Reconstitución

300 μg/mL after reconstitution at 25 μL per vial. Please refer to guidance on suggested starting dilutions and/or titers per application and sample type.

Almacenamiento y estabilidad

Recommend storage of lyophilized product at 2-8°C; Before reconstitution, micro-centrifuge vials briefly to spin down material to bottom of the vial; Reconstitute each vial by adding 25 μL of filtered lab grade water or PBS; Reconstituted antibodies can be stored at 2-8°C, or -20°C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaws.
