Información sobre el gen

human ... NR3C1(2908)

Descripción general

Glucocorticoid receptor (GR) gene/NR3C1 (nuclear receptor subfamily 3 group C member 1) is located on human chromosome 5q31. It belongs to the steroid receptor superfamily that consists of ligand-activated nuclear transcription factors.

Inmunógeno

The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human GR.

Immunogen Range: 181-230

Aplicación

Anti-GR antibody has been used in western blotting.

Acciones bioquímicas o fisiológicas

The glucocorticoid receptor (GR) gene/(NR3C1) is associated with asthma. It is required for glucose homeostasis, hyperinsulinemia and increased fat deposition. It also regulates cell differentiation, nervous and immune system functions.
