GLT8D1 (glycosyltransferase 8 domain containing 1) is a member of the glycosyltransferase gene family 8. This family is composed of four members and they all contain N-terminal small cytosolic domain, a transmembrane region succeeded by a stem region and a catalytic domain present in the C-terminal. It is a type II Golgi glycosyltransferase.
